2013.10.31 | BUCE and regions of Belarus interaction for expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation with Bulgaria

In October of this year an official delegation of the Republic of Bulgaria visited the Republic of Belarus with a return visit, which was a logical continuation of the Belarusian-Bulgarian business forum and the matchmaking meeting organized by Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange OJSC with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Bulgaria in August in 2013 in Pervomay (the Republic of Bulgaria).

The delegation of the Organization of Eurasian Cooperation (Bulgaria) headed by the co-chairs Janko Topalov and Ivan Mikhailov, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Republic of Belarus Ivaylo Ivanov, the Mayor of Pervomay (Plovdiv region) Angel Papazov, the owner of Tehnomat-Mercury LLC Grozdan Stoyanov, the director of  Ekostroy-Bulgaria LLC Dobrinka Yankova and the director of Euroholding LLC Borislav Mandzhukov visited the central office of BUCE in Minsk on 21 of October, 2013.

During the talks the parties discussed the prospects of enhancing of trade and economic relations between business entities of the two countries by means of the BUCE services on the organization of exchange and electronic auctions use. The representatives of the Bulgarian delegation held thematic talks at several relevant ministries, departments and enterprises of the Republic of Belarus (Ministry of Commerce, TsentrKurort RUE, Bobruisk leather Plant OJSC, etc.) on the same day.

BUCE organized a visit of the Bulgarian delegation to Pruzhansky district Brest region on 22 October, 2013.

In the Pruzhany district executive committee the working meeting with the executive authorities and business circles of the district was held, where the prospects of  mutual cooperation by means of import-export operations using the possibilities of Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange OJSC, as well as implementation of the joint projects in the field of agricultural products processing and tourism were discussed.

In the end of the negotiations the Chairman of Pruzhansky Executive Committee Michael Serkov and Kmet (mayor) of Pervomay community Angel Atanasov Papazov signed an agreement on the establishment of twin-city relations between Pruzhany district and Pervomay city (Republic of Bulgaria).

The Bulgarian guests visited the production facilities of Zhuravlynoe OJSC (village Mokroye, Pruzany district) and Pruzhanskiy Dairy Plant OJSC.

On 23 of October 23, 2013 the Bulgarian delegation arrived in the Representative office of Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange OJSC in the Russian Federation (Moscow), where for next 3 days the business part of the program was continued. Thus, the working meeting with representatives of Bulgarian companies intended to acquire a wide range of polymeric materials manufactured in Belarus on the exchange auctions was held.

The Bulgarian delegation was informed about the possibilities of the exchange warehouse Market-Thorpe LLC (Reutov city, Moscow region). The agreement on the use of this exchange warehouse in the process of export and import contracts implementation was reached with its directors.

A special scheme of joint preparation for exchange auctions of fertilizers at Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange OJSC for the needs of Bulgarian and Turkish companies was developed with CEO of Bulgarian company Ekostroy-Bulgaria LLC accredited at BUCE Dobrinka Yankovaya.

In the end of the visit at the Representative office of BUCE in the Russian Federation with the support of the Organization of Eurasian Cooperation talks with the owners of the Turkish company Guzenler (supplier of fertilizers to the Turkish market) were held. The owners of Guzenler arrived specially for talks during the visit of the Bulgarian delegation.

On the proposal of the senior officials of the Organization of Eurasian Cooperation the question of the organization of Belarusian-Turkish Business Forum in Istanbul (the Republic of Turkey) under the auspices of the Association of Istanbul Manufacturers is being worked out now.
